About me

I am a Recognised Postnatal Doula with Doula UK and Developing Doulas. I am based in Warwickshire where I live with my husband and two children (and two dogs!) but have travelled the world in my role as a Doula. I have worked with families of all shapes and sizes, including high profile clients.

I began training at the world-renowned Norland College in 2004 where I was Head Nurse. I graduated in 2007 with a Distinction, and was awarded The Gifford Hall Award for outstanding achievement and the Academic Award for the Diploma in Childcare and Education.

I worked for eight years as a Nanny in London caring for children from the day they were born up to five years of age. This has included working with twins, premature triplets and a nanny share where I had responsibility for four children all of differing ages.

I am a FEDANT registered Breastfeeding Counsellor, Author of ‘The Parent Prep Book’ and a Gentle Infant Sleep Practitioner. I graduated from the Doula UK Accredited Developing Doulas course in September 2020 and have since featured on BBC Radio Coventry and Warwickshire.
