I am a Recognised Postnatal Doula with Doula UK and Developing Doulas. I am based in Warwickshire where I live with my husband and two children (and two dogs!). I also cover areas of Leicestershire and Northamptonshire.
I began training at the world-renowned Norland College in 2004 where I was Head Nurse. I graduated in 2007 with a Distinction, and was awarded The Gifford Hall Award for outstanding achievement and the Academic Award for the Diploma in Childcare and Education.
I worked for eight years as a Nanny in London caring for children from the day they were born up to five years of age. This has included working with twins, premature triplets and a nanny share where I had responsibility for four children all of differing ages.
I am a FEDANT registered Breastfeeding Counsellor and a Gentle Infant Sleep Practitioner. I graduated from the Doula UK Accredited Developing Doulas course in September 2020. I also volunteer with Barnardo’s in my spare time helping to run baby groups, weigh in and feeding support clinics.
